Arlington Heights police responded about 8:22 a.m. Thursday to a report of a Buffalo Grove High School student shining a laser pointer in people’s faces at the McDonald’s, 15 East Dundee Road.
The student was last seen heading toward Buffalo Grove High School. An alert Buffalo Grove police officer assigned to Buffalo Grove High School located the suspect and detained him in the attendance office.
No confirmation whether the subject was arrested by Arlington Heights police or whether the complainant wanted to press charges, but an Arlington Heights police officer did respond to Buffalo Grove High School to meet the Buffalo Grove police officer and student.
