Attic Fire Above Attached Garage on Fieldstone

Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics and police responded about 12:28 p.m. Wednesday to a report of smoke showing above an attached garage at a single family residence in the 0-99 block of Fieldstone Drive.

Firefighters reported light smoke showing and then reported they were working on an attic fire above the attached garage.

Rolling Meadows fire command requested mutual aid assistance and additional Rolling Meadows assistance for the working fire. Firefighters from Palatine, Palatine Rural and Schaumburg assisted Rolling Meadows firefighters.

The fire was stopped about 1:04 p.m. Wednesday.
