Suspicious Workout at Lake Arlington Gets Man Trip to Hospital in Custody

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:40 a.m. Thursday of a suspicious incident at Lake Arlington, 1400 East Valley Lane. Police received a report that a man was throwing things at people and cars, and had arranged wood planks and water jugs around his parked car, with the cars open. Near his car, he was also practicing Karate moves.

When police arrived, they called for a paramedics to respond to Lake Arlington. The suspect’s car was a green Nissan with a lot of debris stored inside the car.

The man was transported to Northwest Community Hospital with police guarding medical personnel.


There is no confirmation yet whether the suspect was involved in a suspicious incident and battery reported Wednesday night in the northeast corner of Lake Arlington.
