Charges Dropped After Man Was Arrested; Accused of Videotaping Under Woman’s Dress at Walmart

A 46-year-old man was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Walmart, 930 Mount Prospect Plaza, and charged with unauthorized videotaping and disorderly conduct after a witness reported him pretending to tie his shoe and aiming his camera under a woman’s dress. Police responded to the Walmart just before 7:10 p.m. to a report that an uncooperative man was being held by loss control personnel.

The victim had also noticed the man was following her around the store. The incident allegedly occurred in the health and beauty department.
