The Picasso, the Bean and now the Blonde Bombshell. A 26-foot-tall sculpture of Marilyn Monroe in her most famous pose was unveiled on Chicago’s now-truly Magnificent Mile Friday morning.

The 26-foot Marilyn Monroe sculpture is the work of New Jersey-based artist Seward Johnson, who is known for his pop art icons in public spaces, including the “American Gothic” homage entitled “God Bless America” — Grant Wood’s iconic farmer and daughter — since December 2008.
