Prototype Solar Impulse Airplane Flies Day or Night, Power Exclusively by Sunlight

One of the main attractions at the 2011 Paris Air Show was the Solar Impulse, a prototype aircraft powered exclusively by sunlight.

Established in 1909, the Paris Air Show (Salon International de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace, Paris-Le Bourget) is the world’s oldest and largest air show. The air show is held every other year.
