Man Has Package Delivered to Holiday Inn Express, Takes it and Flees

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:25 a.m. Friday of a suspicious incident at the Holiday Inn Express, 2120 South Arlington Heights Road. A man walked in to pick up a package from FedEx that he had said was sent there. When the clerk turned away, the man grabbed the package and fled.

The subject is described as a male/black, 22-years-old wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He was driving a black vehicle, possibly an Audi, with shiny rims.

It was reported that the man was not known to be a guest at the Holiday Inn Express. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
