Vehicle Burglary/Theft on South Vail Avenue

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:00 a.m. Tuesday of theft of a credit card from a Tan Mazda B2300 truck in the 400 bloc of South Vail Avenue. Police received a report that the credit card was stolen from the vehicle on Sunday morning.

Police also received a another report Sunday of a burglary in the 400 block of South Vail Avenue and the 700 block of South Vail Avenue. The offender or offenders also removed $25 cash, IPod and GPS unit from a 2006 silver Dodge Caravan.

Arlington Heights police are also investigating several vehicle burglaries that were reported Sunday morning in the 700 block of North Pine Avenue. Also, a report of suspicious teen males that appeared to be checking vehicles on 600 block of South Dryden were reported very early Sunday morning about 1:00 a.m. Police also spotted the subjects running through backyards near Park Street and Dryden shortly after the report. Police searched the area, but did not find the subjects.


The crimes are reported to have occurred between Sunday, May 15th at midnight and Monday, May 16th, 2011 at 8:00am.
