Possible Heart Attack Before Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage Crashed into a Tree in Seminole, Florida

Randy “Macho Man” Savage, the professional wrestler known for his raspy voice, the sunglasses and bandanas he wore in the ring died in a car crash Friday in Florida. He was 58.

About 9:30 a.m. Friday, the professional wrestler’s Jeep Wrangler crossed a concrete median while westbound on State Road 694, continued westbound in the eastbound lanes, and hit a tree near the intersection with 113th St. N.

During the fatal crash, Savage was traveling with his wife, who suffered minor injuries in the crash. The wrestler’s real name was Randall Mario Poffo. He began wrestling with the WWF in 1985.
