Arlington Heights police responded about 7:30 p.m. Saturday to a crash westbound Algonquin Rd at Golf Road. Police discovered a crash involving a gray Toyota Corolla and another vehicle. One of the driver’s fled on foot — abandoning his car.
The man who fled is described as a male/white 30-40 years-old with brown hair and a dark T-shirt. He was last seen possibly running eastbound from the intersection — not specified as Golf Road or Algonquin Road.
Arlington Heights police are investigating.
