Burglary with Purse Stolen on North Haddow Ave

Arlington Heights police received a report Friday afternoon of a burglary involving a purse removed from a garage from the 1500 block of North Haddow Avenue, north of Thomas Street.


A garage door opener, a purse containing ID cards, debit and credit cards, cash and a change purse were taken from a 1998 Mercedes SLK230 and a 2006 Mazda 6 parked inside an attached garage on the 1500 block of North Haddow between 5:40 p.m. May 19, 2011 and 6:25 a.m. May 20, 2011. The bank cards were then used at a Marathon gas station, Meijer, Gas Mart, Samurai Sams, Oriental Chicken and Great Steak in Rolling Meadows and Hanover Park.
