Multiple shots have been reported fired from a vehicle traveling on Interstate 90 about 7:25 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. near Meander Drive, Kissane Drive, Rock Cut State Park and Belvidere Road.
Bullets hit several Illinois homes and injured a Wisconsin woman. The Wisconsin woman is recovering from a gunshot wound to the hip.
Police in Janesville, Wis. say bullets went through the walls of three apartments that face I-90.
The East State Street Goodwill store was also reported to be struck by gunfire about 90 minutes earlier. Two picture frame windows were hit by bullets about 5:45 p.m. Police are investigating the Goodwill store shots as a separate incident.
Police from Illinois and Wisconsin are investigating.
