Narcotics Arrest: Police Activity at Dundee Bridge at Route 53

Arlington Heights police on a traffic stop just after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday reported a combative male subject who ended up in the bushes over the bridge on Dundee Road over Route 53.

Buffalo Grove police who were nearby and heard the call for help, immediately responded for backup. Arlington Heights police officers also responded within minutes. A citizen driver in traffic also helped the Arlington Heights police officer, who had the subject in custody within two minutes.

Arlington Heights police transported one male in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters.

Police were working on a K-9 unit to ‘sniff’ the car, a K-9 unit was responding about 5:45 p.m. Narcotics arrest announced after K-9 work at the scene.
