Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded just after 2:10 a.m. Friday to a report of a man shot in the 700 block of Rand Grove Lane, Palatine. Police arrived just minutes before firefighter/paramedics and reported a man with two gunshot wounds.
Police alerted area police departments that they were looking for suspects in a blue 4-door sedan that was driven away from the scene. Police received a report that a male/Hispanic was shot from the passenger side of the car.
Palatine firefighter/paramedics transported to Level I Trauma Center Lutheran General Hospital with police following the rescue ambulance.
Palatine police are investigating.
