Suspicious Vehicle at Wingate Inn Results in Two Arrests

Arlington Heights police responded about 11:10 PM Sunday to a report of a suspicious vehicle Wingate by Wyndham Arlington Heights, 2112 South Arlington Heights Road. Police received a report that an older model 4-door was parked near the hotel for the past six hours.

About 15 minutes later police called for a backup, and at least eight police squad showed up at the Wingate Inn.

Police transported at least two suspects in custody. One subject fled westbound and was tracked by a K-9 unit to the area of the Motel 6. Apparently the scent was lost there.

No word on the charges for the arrests. The subjects were possibly wanted on a warrant from another law agency.
