Mount Prospect police responded just before 3:50 PM Thursday to a report of criminal damage to vehicle at RecPlex, 420 Dempster Street. Police received a report that two offenders threw a bowling ball through the window of a vehicle — a white Pontiac Grand Prix — at the parking lot at RecPlex.

The offenders were described as two male/Hispanic about 18-years-old that fled in a red Oldsmobile Cutlass westbound on Dempster Street.

The offenders may have been involved in a similar incident about two weeks ago.

Also, that vehicle was possibly wanted later last night in a case involving unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated discharge of a firearm at Algonquin Road and Marshall Drive in Des Plaines. That incident occurred about 11:15 p.m. Thursday.

Police are looking for a red Olds Cutlass 2-door with partial license plate information of K … 3151 (starting with K and ending with 3151). Mount Prospect and Des Plaines police are investigating.
