Retail Theft at Dollar Tree, Suspect Gives Up Goods, and Flees Pursuit

Arlington Heights police responded about 10:40 AM Saturday to a report of retail theft from the Dollar Tree store, 89 West Golf Road. Police received a report that a male/black, 6’0” heavy set, wearing a beige jacket, black ski cap, and carrying a black backpack. The suspect was headed eastbound from the store.

The suspect gave up $40 worth of candy back to a store employee when he was pursued by the store employee.

The suspect was last seen eastbound along Golf Road, across Arlington Heights Road and just west of the McDonald’s.
