Purse Theft Reported at Arlington Heights Memorial Library

Arlington Heights police responded about 5:35 PM Sunday to a report of a theft of a wallet from a purse at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 North Dunton Avenue. Police received a report that the purse was stolen and that a wallet was recovered, but not the purse. Arlington Heights police are investigating. Actually the wallet was stolen and the purse was found stuffed in a bookshelf.

The crime is reported to have occurred between 5:00 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. in the Arlington Heights Memorial Library Reference area.
