Buffalo Grove police responded to a threat involving a resident in the 400 block of Gregg Lane about 5:50 a.m. Tuesday. Police blocked off the street and surrounded the house.
Firefighter/paramedics were also called to the scene, and staged for police, while police checked the house. The scene was deemed secure for firefighter/paramedics to enter the house about 6:15 a.m.
A safety perimeter around the house was released as the neighborhood area was found to be secured.
One person was transported by police to police headquarters about 6:30 a.m.
