Armed Robbery at Business on Wilke Rd, Just North of Campbell St.

Arlington Heights police responded about 6:15 PM Saturday to a report of an armed robbery in the 0-99 block of North Wilke Road. Police received a report that victims were tied up in a store that was robbed by three men. One man displayed a handgun and robbed the store of $2,000 and robbed the man’s cell phone. More than one victim was tied up in the store, but the victims were able to untie themselves and call police after the offenders left.

The three offenders were described as three male/Hispanics in their 30’s.

A second subject displayed a knife and was described as 30-years-old, with brown hair and a blue baseball cap, and a brown jacket.

A witness in the area saw three male/Hispanics walk south past a gas station at the corner of Wilke and Campbell Street about 6:05 p.m.

No confirmation from police if there was a gun displayed as well as a knife. There may have been only a knife displayed.

Arlington Heights police are investigating.
