Stolen Jeep Cherokee on Heather Lane Near Baldwin and Dundee, Palatine

Palatine police responded about 2:20 PM Wednesday to a report of a stolen auto in the 2100 block of North Heather Lane in Palatine. A black Jeep Cherokee (License J 632 501) was reported stolen. The offender is described as a male/black, 15-17 years-old with a thin build, and wearing a white shirt. The vehicle and the offender was last seen in the area of Dundee and Baldwin.

The crime is reported to have occurred about 1:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Palatine police notified area departments of the stolen vehicle report. Palatine police are investigating.
