Quick Stop to Crawl Space Fire on St. Mary’s Parkway, Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded just after 11:15 PM Monday to a report of a house fire in the 400 block of St. Mary’s Parkway. Buffalo Grove Fire Department received a report of a fire in a crawl space with a homeowner working to put out the fire. Police arrived first on the scene, confirmed smoke in the house, and evacuated the house.

Fire command reported two injuries, and at least one person was treated in the paramedic rescue-ambulance immediately.

The fire was extinguished by 11:35 p.m. No information available about hospital destination or whether victims were actually transported.
