Buffalo Grove police responded about 1:45 PM Wednesday for a report of a domestic battery in the 700 block of Hapsfield Lane. Police received a report that a male/white husband that had been drinking left the apartment after a fight wearing a gray hood with the hood up. Police arrived and discovered a female victim was punched in the face. The male was last seen heading southbound on Weidner Road. Buffalo Grove police caught up with him at Dundee and Carriageway Drive in Arlington Heights. Buffalo Grove police are investigating. One adult male was transported in custody to Buffalo Grove Police Department Headquarters.
