Buffalo Grove Police Rescue Missing Woman Exposed to Cold Weather on Rafael Ave

Buffalo Grove police responded about 3:30 AM Saturday to a report of a missing person that was last seen in the area of Town Center, Lake Cook Road and Route 83 in Buffalo Grove. Police were looking for a 25-year-old female possibly driving a blue Volkswagen Jetta. About 4:30 a.m. a police officer found the vehicle in the area of Marie Avenue near Commerce Court and the train station. A couple of minutes later backup units found the missing female in the end of the block of Rafael Avenue — the 20000 block.

Police called paramedics to respond for a female that was possibly a victim of hypothermia and exposure.

Buffalo Grove firefighter/paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital.
