Mount Prospect police responded just after 5:15 PM Monday to a report of an armed robbery attempt at the Chase Bank 55 East Euclid Avenue in Mount Prospect. Police received a report that a man attempted to rob another man at the ATM inside the Chase Bank. The offender was described as a male/white 5’8” 150-190 LBS, approximately 45-50 years-old with short gray and brown, salt-and-pepper hair. He was described as possibly Polish. The offender possibly left in a white BMW X5 with another occupant in the car. The vehicle headed toward the Randhurst structures — the former mall area. Mount Prospect police are investigating. Police were also searching the area.
