An unmarked squad car from a west suburban police department spotted armed robbery suspects in a white minivan from a Palatine armed robbery just after 2:15 p.m. at eastbound I-290 at Mannheim. Hillside marked police squads assisted the unmarked unit and successfully stopped suspects at I-290 and 17th Avenue.
Three subjects from the stopped vehicle were placed in custody.
