Elk Grove Village police responded about 12:01 AM Tuesday to a report of a hit-and-run crash with personal injury in the 900 block of South Arlington Heights Road. The offending vehicle was reported as a white Jeep with possible black paint transfer. Area police department were put on alert to be on the lookout for the vehicle.
Elk Grove Village police found the car parked in the Elk Grove Village just after 12:10 a.m. and had the driver in custody about 12:20 a.m.
