Attempted Vehicle Burglary Subjects Flee Courtyard by Marriott North on Wilke Rd

Arlington Heights police responded about 5:40 AM Sunday to a disturbance and attempted vehicle burglary in a parking lot of the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Arlington Heights/North, in the 3700 block of North Wilke Road. Police received a report that three male/white subjects were banging on doors in the hallways of the Marriott and then ran into the parking lot and attempted to break into vehicles.

The subjects ran southbound from the scene before police arrived and then ran across the Route 53 expressway.

One of the offenders had dark hair and one of the offenders had blond hair — all described as being 21-years-old.

Palatine police were in the area on the other side of the Route 53, but did not located the offenders. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
