Arlington Heights police responded about 5:50 PM Saturday to a report of a theft in progress at Best Buy, 615 East Palatine Road. While responding police received information that the offenders were two male/blacks. Subject #1 was described as a male/black about 35-years-old, heavyset, wearing a large black coat. Subject #2 was also a male/black, and described as about 35 years-old, wearing a black and gray coat. The suspects got into a white Ford Flex with no front license plate, and were last seen heading northbound on Arlington Heights Road from the area of Best Buy.

When police arrived on the seen, they learned from Best Buy employees that the suspects attempted to steal a desktop computer, and were identified as possible suspects in a theft of a computer that occurred last week. Arlington Heights police are investigating. Apparently this night they did not leave the store with a computer.
