Speed Trailer Damaged/Village Property Stolen on South Fernandez

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:55 a.m. Saturday of criminal damage to a speed trailer located in the 1500 block of South Fernandez Avenue. The damage to the speed indicator display trailer was reported by a person passing by on the street.

When police arrived they discovered that an unknown offender or offenders removed a battery and several speed signs. Some property was left on the parkway, but 20, 25 and 40-mph signs were stolen.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, October 15th, 2010 at 8:00pm and Saturday, October 16th, 2010 at 10:00am.
