Elmhurst firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police troopers responded to a hit-and-run crash just after 9:05 p.m. Saturday on westbound I-290 at North Avenue (Route 64). At least three people were injured in the crash. The offending vehicle is described as a white Ford van with extensive front-end damage, no headlights and silver paint transfer. The white Ford van was last seen headed westbound on Interstate 290.
The driver is wanted for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
