Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:45 p.m. Monday that a red car, with its hood up, was traveling westbound on Northwest Highway from Kaspar Avenue in Arlington Heights. The hood was reported all the up — blocking the view of the driver. The car was last seen passing Kennicott. No report of police contact with the vehicle.
