Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:45 AM Wednesday 10/27/2010 of a theft of village property in the 800 block of West Tanglewood. A drain cover was reported missing and stolen. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
Arlington Heights police report that during a three (3) week period between October 5th through October 26th seventeen (17) storm drain covers have been removed from roadside storm drains by unknown offender(s). The missing drain covers are made of iron and these particular roadside grates are circular with a “honeycombed” design.
