Police Fear Mass Suicide in the Works
Deputies searched a wide swath of Southern Calif. for members of a break-off religious sect of of El Salvadoran immigrants that left behind letters indicating they were awaiting an apocalyptic event and would soon see Jesus and dead relatives in heaven, authorities said.
The sect has no name, but is a break-off group of a mainstream church.
