Neighbors Argue Over Lawn Mowing: Switchblade Knife Stuck in Lawn Perceived as Threat

#ad▼

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:10 p.m. Sunday in the 0-99 block of North Yale Avenue that a neighbor was asked to stop mowing beyond his own property. That neighbor refused to stop mowing beyond his property line. Later that neighbor was suspected by the caller of throwing and leaving a switchblade-type knife stuck in the caller’s lawn. That action was perceived as a threat and the police were called.

Police responded, but no word on any arrests — or what action was taken by the police.
