Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:45 p.m. Friday of a burglary to vehicle in the 400 block Lasalle Street. The crime scene is just north of a neighborhood that was hit by at least five vehicle burglaries overnight. An unknown offender or offenders entered a Black 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 and removed a black leather bag containing a Dell laptop, Gucci sunglasses, medical caps/gowns and ten large plastic drug sample bottles. The crime is reported to have occurred between Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 at 10:15pm and Friday, September 3rd, 2010 at 1:15pm.
Note: A suspect was arrested just north of this location in the 2400 block of North Chestnut Avenue just after 12:15 a.m. Saturday following a burglary-in-progress and a quick foot pursuit.
