Minor Crash Involving Empty School Bus at Nichols and Schaefer is Third in a Week in Arlington Hts-Buffalo Grove

Arlington Heights police responded to a request from Cook County Sheriff’s police to handle a crash at Newport Lane and Nichols Road about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. The minor accident involving a school bus with no children on board was actually located at Schaefer and Nichols Road, which is Arlington Heights police jurisdiction.

Monday, Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:05 p.m. of a minor crash or ‘bump’ involving two school buses in the circle drive of John Hersey High School, 1900 East Thomas Avenue. No reported injuries. Last Thursday Buffalo Grove police responded at about 3:30 p.m. to a report of a minor three-bus crash involving school buses at Buffalo Grove High School. A pregnant woman was checked by paramedics after the accident at Buffalo Grove High School.
