Des Plaines police alerted area police departments to a home invasion in 600 block of Dara James Road in Des Plaines tat occurred about 2:30 p.m. Two offenders were described as (#1) male/Hispanic, age 24, 6’0″ 200 LBS, bald, wearing a black shirt and short, and (#2) a male/Hispanic, age 30, 5’10” 170 LBS, bald, wearing a white shirt. The offenders took jewelry and cash. No vehicle description was available.
