Two Arrested in Burglary to Vehicle Near Olive and Dale

Arlington Heights police responded to a report about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday that two males were checking door handles of vehicles near Olive and Dale. Police also received a report that the offenders were walking near the pool at Brandenberry Apartments. A few minutes later police received a report that one of the males was trying to break the window of a red vehicle. One offender was described as wearing a red bandanna across his face. One subject was wearing a black sweathirt and the other subject was wearing a black hoodie. Both offenders were described as being about 5’8″ to 6’0″ feet tall.

When police arrived, an officer spotted them running northbound on Dale Avenue. Between 3:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Tuesday police apprehended both suspects. One male adult was transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters. Another male, age unknown, was also transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
