Charlie Nicholson Jr. Accused of Armed Robbery at Papa John’s in Naperville

Naperville police responded just after 9:00 p.m. Thursday to an armed robbery at the Papa John’s Pizza, 1220 West Odgen Avenue, near Odgen and Valley. The offender was described as a male/black about 6’2″ 180 LBS wearing a black hoodie and a black scarf over his face. The suspect displayed a black revolver as he demanded money from the cash register.

A police officer had seen a person matching the description earlier. Investigation led police to locate Charlie Nicholson Jr. at his house just after 10:30 p.m. Evidence was recovered at the house, and Nicholson was arrest peacefully. Later, police returned with a search warrant of the residence in the 700 block of Royal St. George Drive. Additional evidence was discovered after the search warrant was obtained.
