Arlington Heights police received several reports of vandalism overnight in the 800 block of South Beverly, 500 block of South Roosevelt, 1000 block of East Park, 600 block of South Lincoln, and the 500 block of East Mayfair. The criminal damage to property may have occurred at about 3:00 a.m. Saturday as the first call to police came at about 3:00 a.m. when a resident heard glass breaking and heard people running in the 800 block of South Beverly Avenue. Arlington Heights police found criminal damage to property on the block and also filed a suspicious incident report.
Starting at about 7:00 a.m. Saturday several residents noticed damage to landscaping lights and egging damage. In the 500 block of East Mayfair, a resident reported their house was egged last week, but several houses on the block were egged overnight. In the area of Park and Roosevelt a resident reported damage to landscaping lights and another reported egging damage. Yard lights were also reported damaged in the 600 block of South Lincoln.
