Man Found Dead at Palatine and Windsor Mobil Station, Presumed Missing Person

Arlington Heights police found a male, presumed to be a missing person they were investigating, dead in his car about 11:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Mobil station at Palatine and Windsor. A person called to report an unconscious person in a Toyota at the gas station. While Arlington Heights police were assisting a western suburban police department on a missing person’s case, Arlington Heights police discovered a male deceased in a car at the gas station. Police from the western suburb were notified of the discovery.

Paramedics responded to the scene, but left the scene soon after they arrived without transporting a victim. No confirmation on the identity of the male is available.

Witnesses at the scene said the person appeared to be unconscious and not breathing. The man’s car was towed to Arlington Heights police headquarters. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
