Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:00 a.m. Monday to a garbage truck that brought down power lines and snapped a pole in the 400 block of West Walnut Street in Mount Prospect. Live wires were down on the ground. No injuries reported. ComEd responded to shut off power and repair the damage.
