AHPD, BGPD in Foot Pursuit After Theft from Kohl’s, Arrests Made Near Fox & Hounds, Xsport

Police activity near Kohl’s, Fox & Hound, Dundee Road and Kennicott: Arlington Heights police and Buffalo Grove police responded to assist Kohl’s security personnel who were pursuing three males abut 11:50 a.m. Wednesday. One offender was described as a male/black in his mid-20’s, 5’5′ 180 LBS with a thinly defined beard, wearing a red hat and a red baseball jacket and blue jeans. Another subject was a male/black in his 20’s, abut 5’7″ 150 LBS, clean shaven with long curly gelled hair, wearing a blue hoodie. Another subject was a male/black wearing a black leather jacket. The physical description not confirmed. The subject who was wearing the red hoodie may have shed down to a white shirt. A motorist called police to report that a male/black in a white shirt and out of breath and sweaty flagged down the motorist and asked for a ride. The motorist refused and saw the male/black in the white shirt run toward the Nissan dealership. Police caught up with the suspect near Dundee Road and Wilke.

Suspects were on the loose near Kennicott and Dundee after running past Xsport Fitness and behind Fox & Hound.

All three offenders in custody at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday. The offender’s gray 4-door Ford Taurus was towed to a police holding area.

The Kindercare at Kennicott and Dundee was placed on lockdown between 11:50 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
