If Lee DeWyze makes the cut Wednesday night, a concert at Arlington Park is set to be the last event in an all-day hometown celebration for American Idol’s Lee DeWyze. Here is the tentative schedule for Friday …

Appearance in the morning on MyFoxChicago TV — Fox Chicago News.

Radio interviews for most of the morning.

Throw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field for Cubs-Pirates game at 1:20 p.m.

Mount Prospect hometown motorcade at 4:30 p.m. on Northwest Highway between Route 83 and Central Road.

Arlington Park mini-concert where DeWyze would sing three songs starting at about 6:30 p.m. The horseracing schedule would move Race 1 from 3 p.m. to 1 p.m. and finish by 5:30 p.m.

Arlington Park can hold about 30,000 people.

Tickets to the mini-concert will be free, and will be available at ArlingtonPark.com minutes following DeWyze’s qualification past Wednesday’s round of American Idol.

  1. Actually, Lee DeWyze went to St. James School in Arlington Heights… And also there is a poster of him in front of the school.
