Battery to Cab Driver Kensington and Forest, Mount Prospect

Arlington Heights police received a call about 12:05 a.m. Sunday from a taxi cab driver that a customer struck the cab driver and fled at the corner of Forest and Kensington. The address turned out to be the intersection in Mount Prospect about one-half mile east, not Kensington and Forrest in Arlington Heights. The offender was last seen heading northbound on Forest in Mount Prospect.

The offender was described as a male/white, wearing a black shirt T-shirt walking northbound on Forest with a female.

Unknown if theft of services was also involved. No known arrest. Arlington Heights police assisted Mount Prospect police until Mount Prospect police arrived.
