Buffalo Grove police responded to a report of a burglary in progress about 6:45 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Buckthorn in Buffalo Grove. The offender fled in a dark-colored, full-sized SUV that was last seen headed southbound on Horatio in Buffalo Grove.
The offender was described as a male/black, 25-35 years-old, 5’8″ to 5’9″ heavy build with short hair. He was reported to be wearing a medium length dark-colored jacket and jeans.
