Park Ridge police responded about 3:15 p.m. Friday to a report of a bank robbery at the TCF Bank at 1 W. Devon Avenue. The offender was described as a male/white, 5’8″ to 6′ tall in his early 50’s. He is also described as unshaven, and wearing a green jacket, green Abercrombie baseball hat and sunglasses. He walked into the bank and demanded money without displaying or inferring that he had a weapon.
Park Ridge Police Department is asking any citizens with information to contact the police department at 847-318-5252. Police advised the public not to approach the man, but to call 911 immediately to report a sighting or any information that might be related to the case.
