A female trooper in her 20’s was struck during a traffic stop by a passing vehicle on Interstate 90/94 (The Dan Ryan Expressway) at 66th Street. The trooper was injured with a fracture of the leg, and possibly other injuries.
The trooper was struck by woman driving a gold Toyota before midnight Saturday. Northbound lanes were closed for investigation and the driver of the Toyota was placed in custody during the investigation. No word on charges.
