Palatine Fire Department responded to a crash overnight at Northwest Highway/Baldwin Road and Stephen Drive. Palatine paramedics transported Nicola Masellis, 89, of Chicago to the Northwest Community Hospital Emergency Room. Nicola Nasellis was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m. at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Palatine police are investigating.
